Janet Hart

Janet qualified with PWC and worked extensively in various small practices in Hertfordshire before setting up in practice in 1987.  Her aim is to provide client with a comprehensive professional service in a friendly and efficient manner and at a reasonable cost.

Valerie Chouler

Valerie started her working life with the Revenue and then, after many years of book-keeping, joined Harts and has now been with us for over eighteen years. She is a valued member of the team preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, charities and churches. Valerie also prepares VAT returns and payrolls for many clients. She is always happy to assist clients and their staff with VAT, book-keeping and payroll queries.

Andrea Harris

Assists Janet with the personal tax work within the practice. She has worked in personal tax for 15 years at large and small practices in the local area. Her aim is to make the tax return process as painless as possible for the client and she always tries to nag gently when requesting information!

Giles Pritchett

Giles qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2004 after graduating from Liverpool University. With 15 years in the profession he deals principally with Limited company audit and accounting and provides technical support in other areas.

Sarah Buttars

Sarah trained as a chartered accountant at a top 25 firm in London, qualifying in 1993. She then spent several years with the same firm as an audit manager, gaining valuable experience in a wide variety of industries and sectors. Sarah joined Harts in 2008 and assists Janet with all areas of client work, in particular the preparation of accounts and both personal and corporate taxation.

Bilkis Karolia

Bilkis has been working as an accounting technician since 1994 and joined us at Harts in February 2010. She is very passionate about accountancy and her work involves audits, accounts and payroll preparation for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, as well as bookkeeping support and general client liaison.
